Porto Alegre é a capital do estado mais no sul do Brasil, Rio Grande do Sul. Lomba do Pinheiro and Partenon são dois bairros de uma das regiões da cidade. A maioria dos jovens que participaram no projeto do fotografia, moravam nessa região grande e tiraram muitos das fotos nos seus bairros. Muitos dos jovems escrevem sobre esses bairros em suas autobiografias e/ou referem a areas dentro desses bairros, como a vila do Campo da Tuca.
Porto Alegre is the capital city of the southernmost state in Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul. Lomba do Pinheiro and Partenon are the two neighborhoods that make up one of the regions in the city. Most of the youth who participated in the photography project lived in this large region and took many of their photos in their neighborhoods. Many youth make mention of these neighborhoods in their autobiographies and/or refer to areas within these neighborhoods, such as the vila, Campo da Tuca.
